This book was a great for understanding walleye. Habitat, water temps, times of year, lures, techniques, fish habits. Written in a way that is not convoluted or wordy, but gets you the knowledge you need to know. Great starting point for a beginner, good refresher for everyone else. The hunting and fishing library for the win! The format for their books is great

This is a great book for anyone intrested in walleye. Info is presented in short, to the point chapters with highlites, how to's and great pictures. I find myself going back to it again and again.

I recomend this book to anyone starting to fish walleye's or to one who has fished walleye's all thier life. Dick Sternberg has done a great job with this book. this book covers all the modern age knowledge of fishing walleyes.. lures, where to fish, and how to fish livebait, Dick has covered it all!!!
