Wall-E book is great

I bought this book for my 5 yr old son he loved it...Now the book has a lot of small parts to it and it really gets into the nitty gritty of how wall-e works eva and everything you could think of... so its not just a short 5 min book. it takes awhile and be prepared for lots of questions and interaction with your child... I love the book the theme and the story line!!!

Great backstory book on Wall-e

Our super-inquisitive son loves this behind-the-scenes, deeper-explained book about one of his favorite films. There are tons of tiny trivia tidbits within its pages. The photos are excellent. All around a good book for browsing!

Wall.e Riffic!

"The Intergalactic Guide" is another great entry into the publishing world of DK (Dorling Kindersly). Packed with cool photos, the story of WALL-E and EVE, comes to life at a level anyone can understand, even old folks like me! Behind the cute factor, WALL-E is a parable for our times. The year 2805 could well be called the year 'we' went home and left the stars. Wanton disregard for Earth led to the abandonment of the planet and habitation of a luxurious space station, and BnL (Buy Large) promised to clean up. 700 years later, no complete clean up. So much for corporate responsibility. Not only is there a statement behind the plot, but also that one robot survives to save the planet with another called EVE. A little symbolism? Mebbe. Enjoy the book, enjoy the movie, and hope we are are a little smarter. Highly recommended for the beginning reader, and any adult who wants to learn more about the film. Tim Lasiuta

Fun book for adults too

If you enjoyed the movie, this is a great way to relive it. The graphics are high quality and the book does a nice job of introducing the main characters and offering a recap of the story, as well as offering some additional insights into the plot.

Great Book!

The Intergalactic guide is probably the best book out of all of the current Wall-E books. This one goes into great detail about the bots, the Axiom and Wall-E and EVE's story. My 4 year old daughter loves it! We read it a different way every time, so neither of us ever gets bored with the same story. Sometimes I'll read all of the details of EVE and maybe I will skip the details of something else. You can make this book as long or as short as you like (unless your child requires you to read every caption, then you could be in for a long bedtime story). But it is fun, colorful and I would highly recommend it!
