Walking with the Wise: God's Plan for Parents and Teens

This book is hard to obtain, but very helpful in separating the culturally acceptable from the wise practice of parenting teens. Don't turn them loose too early, don't go with the flow, don't just hope for the best, do the best job of parenting possible. They strongly encourage courting, not dating so as to avoid repeatedly giving your heart away only to have it returned to you in less pristine condition. Teens, recognize that your parents love you even when your hair isn't combed and your clothes not the latest look. Would your friends do that? Worth the read, but challenges to a higher level of living than many may be willing to do.

An outstanding book! If you are a parent of a teenager, have children who will soon enter the teenage years, or for anyone who is or will be working with youth/young adults-- this book is a MUST READ!
