First, this book is the 2002-03 edition. It would be great if a more recent edition were available (at this point, I would wait for the next edition). This is a very good source to highlight thinly traded illiquid companies whose shares may be thinly traded. Each company gets a page, and basic data such as last 4 years financials/ price/book, P/E, dividend, market makers, and shares outstanding are generally included, along with a few comments, which are often usefully frank. Just the fact that it was included in the volume suggests a firm may be worth a further look. This is a good compendium of companies in the tiny cap-illiquid domain, and a good place to look for interesting investments for the patient and discriminating investor.
