An captivating look at four women

I was drawn to this book because of the time setting of post-World War II. The author quickly draws you into the lives of four women and you are pulled through the book by your desire to know more about them. It was hard to put down. The good and bad choices the characters made changed the course of their lives and sent them down roads they did not expect to travel. I read it in two days, and look forward to reading the other 11 books she has written.
