Violet Goes to the Country

Really nice childrens book and if your a Mitford book series fan, it's a great companion...

Violet Goes to the Country

I am a huge Jan Karon fan, having read the entire Mitford series, and looking forward to her new book coming out soon. I purchased her children's books for my "Grandma's hope chest." It is a wonderful book for children and the illustrations are magnificent. I am delighted to say that I will soon become a grandmother and I can't wait to be able to read this book to my granddaughter one day. I highly recommend it.

Very sweet book; not just for children

I don't have children but thought this book was very sweet and has a wonderful message for everyone, not just for children. The illustrations are lovely. If you love cats, you will want to have a copy of this book.

The pictures are amazing!

I bought this book for my 4-year old daughter because she loves cats, so much so, that she often IS a cat. Anyway, she was enthralled with the pictures in this book. And I was absolutely delighted with the story line of this book. A wonderful addition to our library!

A Charming Book

"Violet Goes to the Country" is a lovely, well written book for young children. I'm saving it for a Christmas gift for my 4 year old grandson, and I'm sure he'll love it!
