I confess, I really dislike this title. But I'm so utterly gob-smacked by this remarkable author and he has already lifted my soul so utterly, that I'm going to give this book a read. And I urge anyone who loves the Lord to give anything this man has written a great big chance - you won't be sorry! I only write this in case you respond to the title the way I did (which was to turn from it until I had read other things he wrote). I would have been grateful for his remarkable thoughts some time ago had I not turned away from this title.

Violent Prayer: Engaging Your Emotions Against Evil The book "Violent Prayers" was one of the best book I read this years. I even brought a copy and sent it to a close family friend that was going through some trials. I read prayer books one regular bases. This book was so inspirational and informing. The author write in a very "real" and comfortable format that makes you feel like you are sitting down talking to him having coffee. The knowledge base on the subject was very scriptural, personal, and insightful. I suggest this book as a must read for those seeking God during the times we are living. Also to help get a better grip on prayer and their relationship with Christ. I am "un-churched " Christian that seek books that really are in line with the word of God and daily life. This book is a must read! I plan on ordering more copies to ship to friends this year are going through hard times and need a tighter, stronger prayer life!

Probably the best book on prayer I've ever read. It gave me a better understanding of the things that matter to God, and helped me approach prayer in a whole new way.

This is an excellent book for the Body of Christ as they take their place in the army of God and battle for the kingdom of this world to become the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ!!

This was a great inspirational book to engage your emotions against evil in prayer. We used it for a small male and female group study. Satan intimidates, lies, bullies and tries to give a false picture of his power to put fear in our hearts undermining our faith in the wisdom, power and love of God. "When evil threatens millions, passive tolerance in a blatant sin."

A must read for those searching for the balance between trusting God and perseverence in prayer. Excellent read.
