High school freshman, Zack Gilman, is so unhappy with his life - he can't bring himself to talk to the girl of his dreams, the school bully is out to make his life hell, and his father and his hyper-Minnesota Viking-fan friends are enough to embarrass Zack to death! But, along the way, Zack might just learn a little about himself, and the people he thought he knew.This is a really fun book. I liked the story and the characters and even the lesson. Heck, if you don't like lessons, then don't worry about it, it's a great story even if you ignore them. The story itself has lots of interesting dialogue and all that, plus nice battle scenes and magic. If you want a story about a high school boy who succeeds, then this book is for you!
