Sheckley has rarely been funnier, and yet as time goes on his near -future world seems ever closer, and it's very unsettling to read this and wonder if deep down we may not already be there. (less than 5 years ago, a british newspaper found 52% of those surveyed would commit murder if they could get away with it...)NOT TO BE MISSED! like the best of the best sci-fi, it entertains while asking some disturbing questions about who we are and what future we'll make.
