Oh.My.God

Reading this book was one of the best choices I have ever made when it comes to buying a new book. I did my research and thought to myself "Hmm..interesting let us see what this has to offer me" And it offered ALOT. The story writing is beautiful and well explained, the scenes are creative and easy to follow. I had no problems reading this and wanted to keep reading over and over. This was my first fantasy/super power book to read and I do NOT regret getting it, I cannot wait to read the other book "Vengeful" next so worth it!

Enjoyed :)

Other than being a little predictable(I've read a lot of books, so everything is predictable at this point), it was fun.

One of my favorite reads

As far as the condition of the book is concerned, I'm not really happy that I had to wait on a replacement for a couple weeks due to the first copy I was given being in terrible condition. The copy I have now that serves as the replacement is still not in the condition I expected it to be in, but it's tolerable so I let it slide. But as far as the quality of the book's contents, this is one of my favorite reads of all time. It was action packed and captivating from start to finish, and although the novel had a few minor inconsistencies as far as details are concerned, I'd give this book 5/5 stars for the writing/ unique plot, the character dynamic, the well-paced flow of the story, and the narration/ split perspective aspect of it.

A Quick Read, and Very Much Worth It

I got through this in two sittings. It's my first time delving into V.E. Schwab, and her work came well recommended by other readers I know. The writing style itself is average here, nothing amazing or terrible to write home about, but LOVE the characters! Victor is a great, complicated (but not confusing) protagonist who has you reconsidering your stance on him every other chapter. I can't wait to get more of him in the next book.

An amazing book!

This was the first Schwab book I read and I loved it. It's immersive and unique plotline really draws you in from beginning to end. The characters are all interesting and the writing is just great.

Crazy good

What a wonderful head scratcher of a book. I'm obsessed with it all. Schwab's storytelling ability really shines in this book.
