this book will tell you a tid bit about each school, the requirements and many stats related to the application process. if you are applying to vet school, you should definitely get this book--whichever is the latest edition that is.

This is an excellent overview that gives the specified criteria of all acredited vet schools. Some descriptions for the schools are better than others but the statistics give an excellent idea of the demographics that make up each class.

"Veterinary Medical School Admission Requirements in the United States and Canada" is the official guide to the 31 veterinary medical schools in the US and Canada, authored by the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges. Inside you will find a three-page spread on each school including application deadlines, admission requirements, admission procedures, tuition and fees, and often numbers of resident and nonresident applicants and entrants. In addition there is some general advice and a substantial section of application and enrollment statistics. No applicant for admission to veterinary medical schools should be without access to the latest edition of this book. In my role as Health Professions Advisor at Bard College, I use it all the time to advise students.

This is a great reference for the vet schools in the US and Canada. It tells prospective students what classes and what standardized tests they need to take to get into each school. It also lists a brief descritption of the programs and location which can be helpful when schools start to all appear the same! A must have for any student who may be interested in continuing on to vet school!
