I think the three May 2002 reviews are all by the same person, who doesn't seem to have actually used the book. We have it and it's excellent. The strategies are very useful, and there are plenty of practice questions. Plus, the questions do not overlap with PR's regular Cracking the SAT book, so it really does give a good amount of additional prep. Thumbs up.

This book was really Great. It's got the "Hit Parade" vocab in flashcards, so you don't necessarily have to be settled at a desk in order to learn vocab. It also gives great tips and hints on how to figure out the answers. It teaches the reader how to not choose "Joe Bloggs" kinds of answers, but instead to make educated, sensible answers! A must have for an SAT candidate!
