this book got me my job.

Great book. This and Marc Cosentino's book "Case in point" are the only two books you need. I read these books 1 week before my interviews and practiced as suggested and received my offer. Thank you Vault.

VERY GOOD BOOK ON CASE REVIEW IN INTERVIEWING

VERY GOOD BOOK IN INTERVIEWING AND INVESTIGATION. AND IN GETTING A JOB AND MUCH MORE.

Couldn't do without it

I had a series with slightly less-than brilliant interviews with a couple of US consulting firms after completing my (part-time) MBA last year here (I am a liberal arts undergrad major form an European school). One of the intervievers referred me to the Vault site and this book particularly to help me correct my alleged "firehose" approach to business cases for... my next interviews. To my amazement, it worked. I gladly recommend it to anyone interested in getting into consulting.

excellent and essential guide

This guide contains numerous essential frameworks, case strategies, and actual case questions with model answers. There must have been more than 100 cases of various types in the guide. I highly recommend to anyone pursuing a consulting position, particularly with strategy consulting practice areas.

Best case interview preparation available

As an M.B.A. from a top 3 business school, I found the Vault Guide to the Case Interview to be the definitive and most useful guide to case interview preparation. I used several of the guide's case frameworks during actual interviews with firms like McKinsey and BCG. In addition, some of the practice cases provided in the guide were extremely similar to cases I received during interviews. To my knowledge, it is the only guide on the subject published in Fall 2001 and reflective of the types of case interviews currently in use by recruiters at the top consulting firms. I highly recommend this guide.
