Vampire Strike/Pipeline Strike: Blade, Double Ed.

Vampire Strike/Pipeline Strike is essentially two short novels about Blade and the Freedom Force in a post-nuclear war America. The action is excellent, with every gory detail shown in vivid colour. However, the novels suffer from a low-quality and rather youthful (and perhaps inexperienced) writing style. The characters are simple and hollow, the dialogue is rather unrealistic, and some things just do not make any sense. Despite the numerous shortfalls, the novels do make for a quick, enaging, action-packed read, excellent for reading in the bathroom, or on the job. As a security guard, I love books such as these. They can make the time go faster, without needlessly distracting one from their duty. A decent book.
