Insightful

Most of my knowledge on solders of WWII is that of the Wehrmacht. The books of this series provided me with insightful knowledge on the conflict's soldiers from the US. This one being for those of the National Guard. A good basic source of information on both the soldiers and the Pacific theater of operation. Enjoyable reading.
