As a believer for over 45 years, and baptized in the Holy Spirit just over 40 years ago, I have read just about every book there is on the Holy Spirit. The first and foremost thing that I have always looked for in any book related to the subject of the Holy Spirit is, Does the author of this book write from personal & direct experience with the Holy Spirit, or is it just something that he is teaching from his mind? Because, quite honestly, most books are strictly from a head knowledge point of view, and not a deeply personal interactive experience with the Holy Spirit as a person.
