But romance and love just might step into the picture before the summer is over.I recently found the first three books in the UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL series in a used bookstore, and knew that I absolutely had to have them when I found that they were a) written by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld, and b) were about teens working at a hospital. I was not at all disappointed by UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, the first book in the series. The characters are exciting, and quite witty, and the situations that they are placed in on a daily basis are entertaining. From the very first page to the very last I was absolutely engrossed in the book, and was unable to put it down. And the cliffhanger ending made me itch for the sequel CONDITION CRITICAL. A must-read for all fans of a good teen medical-thriller/soap opera.Erika Sorocco

I have read a few of Cherie Bennett's books, and then one Trash book by Bennett and Gottesfeld, but so far, I have to say this is the best of the books by these two great authors that I have read so far. I have yet to read the rest of the books in the University Hospital series, and believe me, I WILL read every single one of them!

I'm already hooked. This series so far has been so interesting and fun to read that I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the fourth book (as I have already read and re-read the first three several times.) I love the interaction between Tristan and Zoey as they battle their growing feelings for each other and try to get over past experiences in their lives that leave emotional scars of insecurity on them today. But what intrigues me the most is their tough outward appearances that keep them from getting too close to each other, and at the same time, keep the readers entertained by their sarcastic comments to each other. Bennett has once again created a fabulous cast of characters. I highly recommend this series.

This book was so amazing! I loved it! It kept you wondering what was going to happen next. And what will ever happen between Zoey and Tristan?

It's is a great new series. However it might not be for younger readers. Due to somewhat mature themes. Cherie's characters are as always outstanding. The story line is woven wonderfully among the characters and the cliff- hanger ending will leave you guess. I can't wait for the next book to find out what happen.
