I'll admitt this book really caught my attention quickly. I do indeed, enjoy strange novels that pique at the mind and psychosis. This book was pretty good at doing it. It is rather dramatic in it's premis, and the way it was written. The content is read out more as though you're being spoken to. That said, it's a good read in any case, or situation. The Case goes like this: Angie Psalter is a young girl, alone, and drifting through her unsatisfying life. She has an eternal embarrasment on her shoulders, and her father is constantly drunk and absurd. Soon enough, life trakes a turn, as people angie knows, are dying. Her world is both sad, yet thrilled as she is enjoying the throws of passion around the same time. Jorbie, her new love, is everything to her. He brings passion, love, excitement, intrigue, life...and something else..... This perfect man is also the raging demon that has drapped his poisonous cloak over the town, St. Max, and Angie is soon in danger. What makes this novel so deep, for me, is the way the characters are so thoroughly woven together. They do not take such a short time to be sexually involved. It develops their relationship very much, and allows you, the reader, to feel them, as human beings. When all the atrocities are happening, the young heroine is torn, as she knows her lover is a threat, she just cannot leave him, or the threatening position she is in. Love is stronger than most forces. This type of love is obviously the type that get's people to survive. In this case, however, love is the most unholy of things in life.
One Twisted Twin

Unholy Mourning is the story of Jorbie, a mortician with some major psychological disorders. When he was younger, he purposely caused the death of his identical twin and the guilt over this causes him to take his revenge on anybody his inner voice tells him to. Angie, a lonely girl, falls for Jorbie and no matter how unstable he is around her, this love is unwavering. This book was a pretty interesting and quick read and contains some truly horrifying scenes involving live burials and autopsies. It's worth a picking up if you can find it.
