Fun reading on a serious note

Gannon's book is an easier read than most other comparative culture texts. Through the use of metaphors, he provides useful insight into the main cultural groups distinguished throughout the world today. However, his choice of metaphors and often his own personal views present only a limited view of each area and fail to compare across regions.
