Family Roots

Janice Hale's Unbank the Fire traces her own family back to Africa in this interesting account of how her family struggled to make a comfortable life for themselves in America. The book also does an intersting job of outlining ways to educate African American children. The only aspect that needs strengthening in my opinion is absence of discipline in her theories.
