Tom Clancy of Star Wars

For those of you who enjoyed the cute, childish humor and story of the movies, you WILL hate this book. But for those of you who liked the evil and absolutely marvolous bad guys of the movies mixed with the vivid political theme and the incredible space battles of the movies (mixed with just the right amount of Tom Clancy military science), and topped off with character development that just told the story, not forcing your final view of the characters on you, this will be a most gratifiying experience. I myself have read the trilogy thrice and plan to keep that as my final view of the Star Wars universe. P.S.- Its late so please excuse the typos.

Very Good Trilogy

I found it a bit difficult to get into the story at the begining, as it was a bit boring, but once I got about a quarter of the way through the first book, I couldnt stop reading. I honestly dont know why people are talking trash about these books ... I liked them. This trilogy is definitely worth reading, especially if you're a fan. They may not be as good as the original Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, but what really is?Anyway, the Black Fleet Crisis, and more specifically this final, climatic chapter of the trilogy, are one of the better Star Wars books I've read so far.

GOOD,GOOD,GOOD!!!!!

This was a good ending to a twisted tale. Nil Spaar got what he deserved in one hyperspace jump. Then leia got Han back and Luke.... Well just read this trilogy worthy of the Star Wars name.

The entire trilogy rocks!

I loved this trilogy! The cover paintings were great, I loved the plot, the new characters had great personality, and throwing Luke and Leia's mother into the mix, genius.

A dazzling end to an amazing trilogy

This book was incredible. It combined some wry humor with a somewhat darker storyline than is to be expected. The whole trilogy, in fact, explores a dark side of Star Wars that is rarely captured in the other books or the movies. It tells you that this is serious, and that makes it seem much more vivid and realistic. This trilogy proves that Star Wars is a verstile concept, and that there can be many different realities to be considered. To put it simply: Read this book, as well as the other two in the trilogy
