During 1966 and 1967, Buzz Sawyer wasn't just serving in the Mess Hall on a Merchant Marine vessel. He absorbed the sights and sounds of the locations he visited. The girls looked lovely, the Jazz was sweet, and the people were hospitable and generous all in their own unique way.
