Good general overview, perhaps lacking on details for expectant parents

This book was well written and easy to read, and contains very interesting facts about twins and the special challenges both the parents and twins will face. I found it very engaging and interesting, and a quick read - but it is more of a general overview than an in-depth guide. The other reviewers state that it focuses too much on statistics about twins, but this is only in the first two (out of fourteen!) chapters of the book and frankly, I found those chapters very interesting. This book does contain advice for raising twins, but I think it focuses more on their emotional/mental development (ie, from pre-school on up) rather than the day-to-day struggles of the first few years. As a parent of twins who are now 2 yrs old, I find this book engaging - both for the technical info and because it has reaffirmed my own observations. But I suppose if you are still expecting your twins this book may not contain the details you are looking for. Buy this book for the grandparents! ;-)
