I read Twenty-Nine Hills while traveling out west with my boyfriend and being so close to where all the action in Basch's book had taken place I wanted to embark on that journey right then! Marty ropes you right in to the adventure - you are DEFINITELY along for the bumpy ride and I could NOT put the book down. The views Basch has on his relationship while embarking on this adventure really help you understand the thought process of what circumstances you can encounter while on the "trail" with the one you love. If you have any desire to do any part of the Divide Ride you must read this book. An easy to read vacation companion!
