Fantastic American art book

I had to buy this book for a class a couple years back, took the class, sold the book back and then realized a few weeks ago that I really missed the book. I find this book to be very interesting and the variety of information is great. I would recommend this to anyone out there studying American art and it's movements.

Fantastic survey of everything a reasonably well educated American should know about American art history. Well written and superbly chosen examples of every major art movement of the 20th century
