Tuscany Interiors

If you look closely at all of the book's images you will find a treasure trove, an art book filled with photographs and paintings of Old and New Masters, from Edouard Boubat's B & W photos to a Cy Twombly painting. The profiles of several artist's homes is fascinating like Igor Mitoraj, Matthew Spender and Sandro Chia (look closely and you will see a Hermann Albert painting on his wall), you will see how they decorate and collect for their homes which expands our appreciation for their own art. An excellent example how great books can still grab and keep our attention. Nice companion to take to Starbucks or waiting at an airport.

Unlike most interior design idea books, this book actually has a fair number of interiors that are relevant to normal size homes and rooms. I would say that about half this book is useful for homes that aren't mansions. This is unusual, because most design books only have a few plates that are relevant to anything less than a Hearst manion. Definately a buy.- jim and katya preston

This book is a feast for the eyes as it captures the elegance and romance of the Tuscany region. My own preference for more simple decor became obvious as much of the interiors are very lavish.However, if you like the gilded and the opulent looks, you won't be disappointed. The exterior photos of these homes were my favorites and captured the ageless beauty of this region.

Another lovely book from Angelica Taschen! Like the ''Seaside Interiors'' this one is a ''must have'' book also. Lovely pictures, cozy and quality home interiors. Beautiful coffee table book. Makes you think that it is a result of hard work and quality time spend to do this book. Enjoy it!

This wonderful book is a true inspiration and also a type of travelogue. A chance to see inside some of those mysterious buildings that fill Siena and Florence and the hillsides of Tuscany. See the guys with the good plumbing and what they do with really seriously old timbers and architecture.
