I didn't think I was going to like this book at first. It's not that it was bad, but it just seemed like one of those romance books that get too involved in the emotions of the character and not enough anywhere else. This is my first book by Ms. Novak and I loved it! Skye was nearly raped 4 years ago. She fights off her attacker and he goes to jail. Unfortunately he's going to get out a lot sooner than any one thought. While they scramble to find a way to pin a few other murders on Oliver, Skye works closely with David - the original detective on the case. No wonder this book is on the USA Today bestseller list! I finished Trust Me after losing considerable sleep hanging over it and I loved it. Such a luscious read and layered plot...
