How's that for a catchy title? You know, I'm personally convinced that Robert is a gift from God. I love this man so much. He's like the spiritual father I never had. He tells stories and weaves tales that reach straight into my heart and remind me of Love, and how important that Love is to me... no matter how much I've tried to pretend to the contrary.This particular book has helped me to bring forth my emotional self, again. I've just cried and cried while reading it. Don't be scared though; when it comes to Love, I'm a bigger softee than anyone else I know. Hahaha, in movies my 10 year old will look over at me crying and just wonder.If you're a softee, or have ever been a softee, or wish you had more contact with your inner-softee, pick up this book. I've been a huge fan for Fulghum's books. He always have a unique perspective in everything. But this book is different from his previous ones. It's a collection of love stories from many people. Fulghum just put them in this book, re-arrange and add his comment. This is one of the most honest book I ever read. Story of strange love, I would say that if we can call it "love". What does love mean? Does it limit only between boys & girls, friends & friends etc? This book doesn't answer anything at all, but it will make you think about it and finally smile.I'm very surprise with such those wonderful, lovely stories in this books. This is the book you will love. Each story has its own charm and memory. Again, as usual, Fulghum's summary in each section of the book is more than I can say. His view for love with the help of his excellent ability to select spectacular words make it a very wonderful book. Good persent for Valentine's day

"True Love" by Robert Fulghum was one of the few books in my life I just couldn't pull myself away from. It really isn't a book written by him, but rather a collection of stores, real life stories, submitted by people throughout he United States.I simply LOVED this book. Reading these stories reinforced my already existing belief that True Love REALLY does exist... but more importantly... it reinforces my belief that Love (or True Love) need not last a lifetime, but can actually be brief moments in time... even minutes.I enjoyed reading all the stories and I enjoyed the Hope that these stories instilled in me. The great thing is... these stories are REAL. They really happened!!! So if you're the type of person who reads romance novels and thinks, "This stuff isn't real." you'll soon learn that some of those unbelievably sweet stories really do happen.These stories are so amazing and breathtaking... we could all be so lucky to have a story such as those within these pages to call our own. I'm still looking for my One True Love... who knows... after reading "True Love"... it could actually happen.

I loved this book, every single one of us wonders, what is true love? All these stories have some glimpse, or taste of true love possibilities. Some are full blown true love that stood the test of time. Love is the most marvelous feeling in the world, and most desired of all experiences of humans. Yet true love so hard to explain with words, for the emotion of it is so powerful. The human experience is certainly more bleak without true love in our lives somewhere, sometime. I hope everyone who ever hopes to be in love, or has been in love will read this. I have already bought extra copies to share with my friends. What a treat Robert Fulghum is to those of us who love to read of the human experience.

I have read this book twice, once when there was no one special in my life and now, after finding the love of my life! The happy news is that it really doesn't matter whether you are in love or not while reading it; each story is sweet and poignant, and brings out the romantic in each of us. In Fulghum's previous book, Uh-Oh, he shared some of his own love stories, and asked his readers to forward their own tales, conventional or not, with him. To his surprise, he was deluged with stories, both sweet and bittersweet, touching and funny. As suggested by the author, it is the kind of book that may be picked up and read in small doses. Each chapter is separate and complete; there are reflections by Fulgham interspersed throughout. Each heartfelt story stays with the reader; some have happy endings, some do not, but each is guaranteed to touch the reader in some way.
