soooooooooo good!

these books r soooooo cool! i didnt really like the ashley part of the book.i would have put 4, but the ruth and hank part made up for the 5th star. it must be sad for ruth seeing her father fade away like that. it is so cool how ty understands wat ruth is going thru. I AM A HUGE HEARTLAND FAN AND I HAVE READ EVERY BOOK XCEPT FOR ALWAYS THERE AND FROM THIS DAY ON. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES! :)

True Enough- Definitely Good Enough!

This is yet another of Lauren Brooke's amazing stories about the healing and training of troubled horses. Again Ashley interferes (she ALWAYS does, after all) but this time, the interference is a bit more disguised. It is not like Ashley to show up at Heartland unannounced, and definitely not at all like her to ask Amy for genuine help. Amy agrees to herlp retrain Bright Magic, a gorgeous and honest jumper, but after he begins to respond, Ashley no longer wants Amy's help. However, Ashley does drop her crop every time before she enters the jumping ring. A little interesting, isn't it? In many of her books, Brooke describes "joining up" a process of establishing trust and dominance and friendship between a person and a horse. I must say, it works! I have seen it being used at the stable I ride at, and I have experimented with it myself. My horse respects me and trusts me so much more when I am finished! Thanks Lauren Brooke!

THE BEST BOOKS IN THE WORLD!

HI MY NAME IS ANNA AND I JUST LOVED THIS BOOK.AND ALL OF LAUREN BROOK'S OTHER ONES. TRUE ENOUGH IS ABOUT A YOUNG GRIL NAMED AMY. ONCE AGAIN SOMETHING COMES UP IN LIFE AND IT'S UP TO AMY TO FIX IT. IT STARTS WITH A BRATY GRIL NAMED ASHLEY GRANT. SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN RUDE TO HEARTLAND BUT THEN SHE TURNS AROUND AND ASKED AMY TO HELP HER TRAIN A EUROPEAN SHOW JUMPER NAMED BRIGHT MAGIC. AMY CAN'T SAY NO. SO SHE DECIDES TO HELP THE RICH,RUDE,ASHLEY BUT AMY DOES IT FOR THE HORSE NOT THE RIDER IN THIS CASE. I AM A WRITER MYSELF AND I WORK AT A HORSE FARM. LAUREN BROOKE HAS HELPED ME BECOME A BETTER WRITER AND GIVIN ME IDEAS FOR WHEN I WORK AT THE FARM. SO I HOPE SHE INSPIRES YOU IN SOME WAY AND TO FIND OUT HOW THE BOOK ENDS YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO READ IT FOR YOURSELF.

FANTASTIC

I thought this book and the rest of the Heartland series was absolutely brilliant. I love the original approach Lauren has taken by having her main characters use join-up and alternative remedies on the horses. I also thought the conflict between Amy and Ashley was dealt with in a very realistic way. I hope Lauren continues with this series because I never want it to end!

One of the Better Ones

Well, I can't say this was my favorite Heartland books, but it was one of the better ones. It starts off with Amy working with a horse named Boxer. He had just recently been sent to Heartland because his owner could no longer take care of him and he was depressed. During the story, Amy finds out that Boxer's owner has Alzheimer disease and they only thing he remembers is Boxer. Althrough the story, Amy visits with Boxer's owner and trys to help get Boxer happy again. Ashley Grant also comes to Amy for help with her horse, after a show where she fell off because the horse was controlled too much and Bright Magic, the horse, didn't like it. So, Amy helps Ashley with her horse. Amy and Ty also have their special moments. I thought it was a good book, but it sort of lost the Heartland touch a little. But, you should still add it to your collection of Heartland books.
