"Bess Marvin, you're chicken about everything! "

Wow! It looks like a great summer for Nancy, Bess and George. The day camp they all attend together is having a special treat. They all get to spend some time away together at a sleep-away camp that promises to be fun for all. That is, except for poor Bess, who seems to be afraid of everything. She's afraid of swimming. She's afraid of horses. Can Nancy and George and their other camp pals get her to loosen up and have a good time? There's other things for Nancy, Bess and George to worry about, as well. One of their new pals has had her camera stolen! There goes all the precious memories she wanted to bring home! Looks like camp will be a bust for everyone, unless Nancy Drew can use her winning ways and trusty detective's notebook to crack the case of Trouble at Camp Treehouse. This is a splendid book for young readers who will not only enjoy thinking about all the clues and suspects, but, as always, come away with wonderful ideas about friendship, loyalty and fun!

A great book!

I loved the book! It was really nice reading it. I read it more times than just once. I really really really like it. I like camps; and it was a little more interesting than "Puppy Problems" even thought I loved that too. I thought Bess was kind of funny in this story, because she doesn't like a boy named David Mulholland. I think you'll enjoy reading it too.

I agree

[....] I liked this book but didn't love it. It was a little predictable as compared to the others in the series.

Trouble at Camp Treehouse by Carolyn Keene

If you like camps you will like this book. It is one of those books that will keep you up a night reading. The "mystery" is not too hard for the recommended age group, but not too childish for an older child to read.
