A basic exploration of the appearance, behaviors, and origins of trolls, the gigantic creatures of Scandinavian legend known for their appetites. Also included is a story from folklore about a troll in disguise.
It's a children's book with very simple writing. I wasn't expecting a lot, but somehow still feel underwhelmed. But hey, maybe kids dig it. As for the art: I picked this up thinking there would be illustrations as shown on the cover, but instead there is a hodgepodge of different art by different artists all throughout the book. That's not a problem in and of itself, but when I checked the artist credits I found several DeviantArt accounts cited as sources. The lack of real names makes me wonder whether the artists knew their pieces were being included in the book. If not, that's pretty unethical. Feels like a cash grab of a book. I'm putting it in the donation pile.
