Satisfying read

Who says nice guys finish last? Cam and Josh are the decent kind of men that are rare in paranormal romance. They're kind, honorable, and stand up for what they believe in, without being macho jerks. Sara is a good woman with a strong soul, who is able to come back from staggering abuse. The three of them together make for a likable, egalitarian, trio. The story moves at an uneven pace, but once it started headed for the conclusion, it picked up steam, making for a good ending.

Trinity Broken

Josh and Cam never gave up hope of finding their third mate Sara. Spending two years being abused and tortured at the hands of a man who looked like Cam, Sara is all but a shell of her former self when found. Cam can't believe his Sara can no longer stand the sight of him, and isn't sure he can bare the pain that comes with her inability to see he's not the monster from her nightmares. Josh is the piece that connects them all together and even though he's a human he will have to take on the load of their pain and distrust. To give up can't be an option if either of them ever wants to find their special love again. I understand a blurb is a sample of what readers should expect from a story. Trinity Broken's blurb was honest and to the point about the pain and anguish this triad would experience as they attempted to rebuild their lives. I'm a personal fan of stories that are hard hitting and shocking but I must admit to finding Jamie Craig's latest effort slightly disheartening. I thought the heroine Sara would never get over her psychological trauma and allow Cam back into her life. The story Ms. Craig created was very well written but for me and my current mood not something I was able to embrace. I think readers who enjoy emotionally heavy storylines and are patient enough to understand the trials and tribulations that need to be conquered first will be pleased with Trinity Broken. 4.5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies

Josh Ames has been given a grant by his doctorate program to study and research shape shifters. His test subjects? Cameron and Sara. For the course of his research, Josh indoctrinates himself into their lives and soon becomes their lover. Their bond is so strong that Josh leaves his old life behind and moves to where his lovers reside. Then the unthinkable happens - Sara disappears and is presumed dead. However, Josh and Cameron refuse to give up searching for her and are finally able to find her. But the woman that they love, the woman that they knew so many months ago, has been replaced by a shell-shocked and emaciated test subject that they have no idea how to reach. With tenacity and love they resolve to bring back the Sara that they know. Sara barely remembers her life prior to being kidnapped and drugged. She does remember one thing, and that is being hurt by a man who looks just like her mate, Cameron. She doesn't know if she will ever be able to trust her men again but she doesn't want them to give up on her. Fighting through post-traumatic stress, Sara reaches to remember her men. Just when she begins making strides to recovery, Josh goes missing. TRINITY BROKEN by Jamie Craig took me on a rollercoaster ride like none other. I could not stop reading this book and while I winced, cried, and even got angry at the turn of events in the storyline, I relished and cherished the end result which was a truly magnificent story of love, forgiveness and the ability to overcome horrendous odds to find true love. Quite simply, it was glorious. Sara and Cameron are mates and while they love each other, their ability to love and accept Josh into their lives is very beautiful. Josh had never experienced anything as profound as Sara and Cam's love and his ability to accept them as well is realistic and often times steamy! The trinity that is Cam, Sara, and Josh is written in such a way that unconditional love is endless - and to me, that is the way it should be. Natalie S.
