Having known Kathleen personally for several years before I had the opportunity to read "Trial by Fire", my understanding and respect for her and her experiences was increased exponentially. When Kathleen speaks about world events and situations, she does so, not from the comfort and safety of a newsroom in the US; she's been there and lived these events!
