Triad - Witches Knot

This book was a lot of fun. Of course you have to suspend disbelief to accept the situation but that's why it's called fiction. The New Orleans setting gives it the proper atmosphere to carry the story along. I do think that one reviewer who panned it, should look to their own mispellings and grammatical errors before they point a finger at an author.

Summary: Witches, vampires, & wizards. This is the first book in this series. Lee Charvez meets the man of her dreams. She is a witch and he is a vampire..Throw in a old friend who's a wizard and we have a triad... Aidan is the vampire who makes sweet love to her. Alex is the wizard with a very demanding sexual appetite (BDSM). You will have to read the book to figure out how they begin sharing Lee. Too bad these three can't enjoy there new found loves because there is a nasty demon out to kidnap Lee and make her for his very own and destroy her family. Very believable characters and story line. After I read this book I went straight to Ellora's Cave and purchased the next in the series ( A TOUCH A FAE) which is a e-book and read that straight through.. WOW..... Lots of action, sex and more sex....

I love that Lee and Aidan are so accepting of each other and then accepting of Alex as well. Aidan is passionate, charming and so hot! Alex is dominant and intensely sexy. Together they make the perfect combination to complete Lee and fulfill her every desire. The deep connection between Aidan, Lee and Alex is full of love and desire. This story has it all! There is action, drama, interesting characters, an electrifying story line and hot passionate sex. Best of all, Triad is a truly beautiful and sensual story. I'm not usually a romantica/erotica reader. When I have attempted to read this genre in the past, the characters often come across as shallow and the plots leave a great deal to be desired. Ms. Dane does not dissapoint. I am hooked on this author. I have read Triad and the sequel Touch of Fey. The characters are deep, complex, flawed and heroic. The women are strong and independent, yet decidedly feminine. The men are more than "beefcake". The plot is layered; the environment is richly designed and detailed. While there is plenty of "sizzle" in this book to keep you squirming, the story is what keeps you captivated and craving more. Ms. Dane has a unique way of drawing you into the worlds of the Charvez sisters. You will know them just as you know your close friends. In fact, there are times when I began to wonder if they were fact or fiction. I am looking forward to more great work from Lauren Dane. I am unaplogetically SOLD on Ms. Dane. I'm excited these books are coming out in print so that I can purchase them for my bookshelf.

The world Ms. Dane creates draws the reader in from the start and leaves you wanting more until the very last page. The forces of good and evil do battle in the back alleys of New Orleans with lots of steamy sex along the way. I LOVED this book.
