An excellent quick resource

I've owned this book for over a year, and just picked it up recently and found it to be very useful in the outpatient setting. It gives quick synopses of presentation, diagnosis and treatment options that are up-to-date. Don't expect definitions though - you'll have to use a bigger desk reference for that.

very useful

i have used this book for all of my rotations and it has helped me so much. It gives you the most important info you need in a concise form

Excellent pocket resource for any primary care rotation

I wish I had found this little gem before starting rotations. It is relatively compact, and has most (ie, not eye section) common conditions presented extremely well. It describes the presentation (and sometimes, epidemiology), evaluation (to include PE, labs AND ddxs), and the treatment modalities so well, that I find myself using this book at least 4-5 times a day! I've even bought several copies to give as gifts!

Very Helpful

Very helpful, quick reference to almost every primary care scenario.

Great for Primary Care Providers!

This text book is easy to use and is extremely useful. It outlines practice parameters which are evidence-based. It is a must have for any family physician or internist who practices using the latest clinical practice guidelines and recommendations.
