Apesar do livro ser, por vezes, redundante e ser pouco abrangente em relação aos 4 modais de transporte (dá ênfase no transporte aéreo) é um dos únicos textos que analisa o transporte na perspectiva do turimo. Sendo assim, apesar destas limitações é um texto que serve de guia a todos os professores e pesquisadores lidando com o assunto.Although this book is, sometimes, redundant and not comprehensive to the 4 transportation modes (emphasis is in aerial transportation) it has an approach which is rare: transportation in the point of view of tourism. So, I recommend this book, although these limitations, because it serves as basic path to professors and researchers dealing with this important matter.

No one has ever dealed with the connection between transportation and tourism. please remember that transportation is the basis of tourism. page gives a detailed book, with tables, figures and bibliography. a very good book!
