The Transmission of Doubt

I came to this book after exploring The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra, exploring the connection between science and spirit. I was deeply moved by this book, full of talks and essays by an obviously Enlightened Being addressing every conceivable aspect of science and scientific inquiry from an illumined perspective. No matter how hard I tried to approach spirituality, I was stuck in deep unconscious patterns rooted in a scientific education and obsessions with knowledge, the patterns of materialism and objectivism. This book was a profound inspiration, influence, and turning point in my life and understanding and remains one of my all time favorite books on any topic. There is a wonderful talk called "Even Science Is A Magical Activity" which brings a uniquely transcendental perspective to the understanding of traditional shamanism altogether, calling all to the sensitivity of a true shaman in approaching life, science, and reality. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Especially for those making an open hearted inquiry into science and spirituality, this is true inspiration, spoken heart-to-heart for the sake of deep understanding and clarification of a right human approach to science altogether, and reality-based understanding of spirituality which is essential to human sanity.
