Trail of the Silver Saddle: A Western Trio

Despite a tragically short life, Les Savage left a rich Western literary legacy of finely crafted novels and short stories. Savage's work was characterized by historical accuracy, memorable characters and evocative descriptions of the old West. Though some might consider those characters a bit gimmicky, Savage's craftsmanship makes them living, breathing human beings. His plots are interesting and well-developed and he has a marvelous way with words in describing western vistas.
