Everything from Gilgamesh to the Legend of Ra'i Ra'i!

This is an excellent title, with an A-Z listing of the classic sagas and epics of world culture. It is particularly strong in the area of Scandinavian sagas and more obscure ancient epics. It contains over 1400 entries with extensive cross-referencing, very helpful for the comparison of common themes. Highly recommended to any student of history, mythology, or literature.
