Basically, this book is about a super secretay who'll do anything for her boss, personal feelings aside. When her boss ask her to pretend to be his fiancee to avoid getting set up with another girl, she really doesn't want to do it, but agrees anyway. She begins falling for him (of course), but fights her attraction, because she's sent to many flowers to to many women on "the morning after". She and her boss end up happily ever after anyway, in the fine tradition of Harlequins. This is a basic feel-good book with all the classic elements. I enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a love story with a strong-minded heroine.

Gayle had no illusions about Jared Logan As his secretary, she'd sent too many flowers to his mistresses on too many "mornings after" not to know what he was really like. And as a woman with a private grief she had no time for romance. So when Jared suggested she pretend to be his fiancee to save him from a marriage he did not want, she was in no daner of falling in love with him. At least that was what she thought! (*)>
