LIFE WITH THE KENNEDY'S FROM THE CHAUFFEUR'S PERSPECTIVE
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
I was 5 years old when John Kennedy was killed & 10 when Robert was killed. It was good to read a worker's perspective on this family. The book is definitely biased from the author's side, but what else would you expect? I was especially saddened to hear about what drinkers and adulterers all the Kennedy males were, starting with the father, Joe. I don't know how the women could stand being married to them. Also, the author was a drinker and adulterer himself and then wonders why his marriage broke up. It was interesting to see his opinion of Rose Kennedy. He definitely did not like her, but made his peace with her in the end. Interesting reading and I would recommend it for an eye opening look at this very famous family. There is some profanity & sex, but not much, so I would not recommend it for anyone under 18.
