My 10 year old is a bit of a reluctant reader and we've tried many different series over the years. Fortunately we discovered the Beast Quest books and reads them all the time now. It's nice to have a series for younger boys that's not too mature but also not cutesy. The vocabulary is not dumbed down at all and I think it's very good for the 9-12 year old age group.

My two boys age 10 & 15 are enjoying this series. They look forward to each new book. My 10 year old who is a reluctant reader will devour this book in a day.

My six year old loves me to read him the Beast Quest books. We own all of them so far. They really appeal to the interest boys have in monsters and different beast type characters. The main characters in the series, Tom and Elenna, are great examples of bravery, and loyalty. The books are just a lot of fun and we're always interested to see how each quest unravels.

A nice addition to the Beast Quest collection. Have been buying our eight-year old grandson the books from this series as they are released, and he seems to really enjoy them.
