This story was mind blowing!! To peek inside the cultural revolution on China from an insider’s perspective is amazing. I believe this opens up the experience in a culturally Chinese way the way the Gulag Archipelago opened up the experience from a Russian perspective.
I do not think I will ever think the same about the cultural revolution and the words we choose to express ourselves.
A must read for any honest lover of history.
