Kazu is Dead, but His Story is Very Much Alive

Tokyo Ueno Station is one of the most moving stories I have ever read. Yu Miri really makes you feel the sadness, suffering, and misfortune of Kazu. She skillfully describes the loneliness of migrant workers and homeless people, bringing you into their world. You learn to sympathize with their experience and understand that they are complex people with their own individual stories and lives.
