Ryan and Kitty-SPOILERS
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 18 years ago
Favorite scene with Kitty- Kitty meets Padre Enrico at the mission and they work out a plan to get Ryan out of jail. Favorite scene with Ryan- Accidentally meeting up with the Barton gang while trying to go after Kitty, which led to his arrest and almost near hanging. Poor dude. :) Together- The little incident in Tombstone in which Kitty ended up saving Ryan's life by giving a customer exactly what he deserved in the alley. What did you like about Kitty- Her strength and stubborness. Her wildcat ways, especially where Teresa was concerned. Her love for Ryan, changing him, and her growing love for Bert. Willing to risk her life for Ryan so that he would be set free. I thought Ryan should have let her tell the truth about her involvement with the gang. Although he was bad to the bone, she even loved Lex because he saved her and protected her from the rest of the gang. And, although I don't understand this, feeling bad about Teresa. What didn't you like about Kitty- There wasn't anything I didn't like about Kitty. What did you like about Ryan- Wanting to help Bert find his daughter. His love for Kitty. What didn't you like about Ryan- Sometimes I thought he should hang for his attitude. He acted like he didn't want Kitty, but was jealous of anyone else having her. His I'll never marry or fall in love attitude made me want to hang him. I also thought he encouraged Teresa just a little too much. If I had to cast Ryan, I'd cast Cameron Mathison. If I had to cast Kitty, I'd cast Natalie Maines. http://romancereadingclub.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_romancereadingclub_archive.html
This trilogy goes out with a bang!

This is the final leg of an exciting journey with the hellraising Delaney brothers! I think this was by far my favorite of the three, which is hard to say because I really liked the first one, "To Love A Stranger". This had all the action and fire I had hoped for in Ryan Delaney, the youngest and the 'rogue' of the three brothers. His match Kathryn, or Kitty as she is nicknamed has become one of my favorite heroines! She is fiesty and fouthmouthed and doesn't take no lip or (excuse the language) crap from anyone, inlcuding Ryan! Or Rogue Ryan as he is called in town...Ryan is sent on an errand from his dead father's best friend in Arizona to find his long-lost daughter Kathryn Lowry. No one has any idea where she went, she has disapeared without a trace for more than 6 years! Ryan decides to go since his brothers have all settled down and have families. He is bored with the women in Dry Gulch, Montana (his hometown) and embarks on the journey south. He accidentally runs into a notorious bankrobbing gang in Tombstone, Arizona and gets caught up in the fray, soon his finds himself one of the crew! Boy will his brothers kill him when they find out! But what he does discover is a small boy that doesn't look much like a boy, but a woman in boy's clothing in the gang called Kit.Kit has no time for men or handsome, heartstopping ones named Ryan Delaney. No one had discovered her ruse and she prays they never do. She is only along for the ride until she can save enough money to leave them. Suddenly her world is turned upside down when her protector is shot down in a robbery and Ryan joins the gang. Will he see through her clothing? Does she want him to? Kit is so confused, she has never felt anything for a man before. But when Ryan discovers her for who she is, she is turning tail!An exciting adventure through the deserts and old west towns! Kit becomes Kitty and Ryan soon realizes that Kitty is also someone else he has been looking for...but how in the world did she becomes an outlaw? What would her father say? I loved the action and fire in this story and thought Kitty was perfect for the loud and obnoxious Ryan! Ryan gets himself into a bad scrape that the brothers must band together to get him out of. We get to meet up with Pierce and Chad from the first two books, "To Love A Stranger" and "To Tame A Renegade". A great trilogy that are definate keepers! Keep up the fantastic work Ms Mason!Tracy Talley~@
Woman rides with gang to find father's murderer.

Kitty O'Shay had a mission. She had ridden with the notorious Barton gang to find her long lost father. She couldn't reveal who she was for fear her life would be endangered. Ryan Delaney was the only one who knew Kitty's secret, and he wasn't about to tell. But how could he know Kitty wasn't deceiving him too? The last book in the Delaney Brothers series is high on sensuality and high on adventure. There is one cliché in the character of stepsister Teresa, but Connie Mason seems to overcome that by giving her a much-deserved comeuppance. Ryan and Kitty are fine, sympathetic characters any reader can love.
Final Delaney is an excellent western romance
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 25 years ago
In 1884 Tucson, Arizona, Ryan Delaney heeds the call of a friend of his deceased father. When he meets the dying Ben Lowrey, Ryan agrees to honor the man's wish and find his missing daughter, Kathryn. He soon traces the lost individual to Tombstone where Ryan hopes to obtain the information from Lex Johnson. However, his meeting with Lex inadvertently gets Ryan involved in criminal activity as Lex and his gang robs a bank. Lex is killed and Ryan soon realizes that one of the gang members Kitty is the missing Kathryn. He persuades her to accompany him to see her father. On the way the pair falls in love, but the law arrests Ryan as a gang member. This leaves it up to his beloved, her father, and his family to rescue him if they can. TO TEMPT A ROGUE is the last novel of the great Delaney Brothers' series. As with the previous novels, the fast-paced story line is filled with non-stop action and plenty of heated passion as the lead protagonists' struggle to surmount their doubts. Fans of western romance will miss the Delaney siblings who have added much to the sub-genre. Connie Mason closes her tales with another memorable story.Harriet Klausner
