Made to Count Life Planner

Reccord and Singer have produced what I believe is a valuable supplement to the Bible for discovering God's mission for your life. The planner is set up much like other LifeWay studies (Experiencing God, On Mission With God, etc.) in that the book is consists of 10 chapters with 5 1-day reading assignments per chapter. Anecdotes of how certain people were led by God into His mission for their lives are mentioned periodically throughout the book. The book is built around 8 main principles: 1. God prepared a unique plan and calling for your life even before you were born. 2. Gods calls you to a life-changing relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. 3. God calls you to partner with Him in a mission that is bigger than you are. 4. God calls you to be on mission with Him right where your are - starting now. 5. God reveals His mission thorugh His Word, His Spirit, wise counsel, and His work in cirucumstances around you. 6. God repeatedly brings you to a crossroads of choice as He forges you for His mission. 7. God guides and provides for your mission one step at a time. 8. When you answer God's call, you experieince His pleasure and change your world. All in all, an excellent supplement to the Bible for discovering and applying God's mission for your life.
