This is a wonderful book that will give the child an idea of what to expect in Kindergarten. I have preschool and Kindergarten daughters, and it was fun reading it to them and hearing the input from the Kindergartner on what her class is like... and really got my Preschooler excited about going. This may take some of the scare out of Kindergarten to some children. It's going to be the book I purchase for all my friends and family's children, before they start Kindergarten!

As a kindergarten teacher I recommend this book for parents to read to their rising kindergartener. It is even great for your children who are not in school- wondering what they are missing out on when Big Brother/Sister is gone for the day. Very cute story- wonderful pictures!
A well illustrated book on a poignant subject.

My nearly 5 year old has enjoyed this peek into a kindergarten classroom in anticipation of the coming schoolyear! We especially liked the illustrations! This book gets better and better everytime we read it.
