My almost 5-year-old daughter loves Tinker Bell, and we have both the Disney DVDs, as well as several story books featuring Tinker Bell and her friends in Pixie Hollow. "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" features Tinker and her friends, but the focus this time is on Tink's friendship with Terence, a dust-keeper fairy, and how this friendship becomes jeopardized when a prized moonstone shatters, putting Tink's reputation at stake (she was given the prized task of creating a new scepter with the moonstone). Tink goes off on a journey to find a replacement moonstone, and the rest of the story details her adventures, and how her friendship with Terence is repaired. The illustrations in this storybook edition are beautiful, in full color, and bring the story to life, as it is portrayed in the animated version by Disney. Each page has a large illustration (either half a page or full page), and the font size is neither too big nor too small. This book makes a perfect reading aloud story, and it would also be a great gift for kids who love Tinker Bell and her friends from Pixie Hollow. The binding is in hardcover, which makes it more durable, and the paper quality is glossy without being flimsy. Recommended for fans of Tinker Bell, and makes a perfect accompaniment to the DVD.
