After hearing Marianne Fisher speak, I just had to read her book. This is no boring biography, but an exciting journey through the holocaust and beyond, written and lived by a Hungarian Jewish believer in Christ. It greatly amazed me how God put people into Marianne's life (including her unborn child!) at just the right moment to once again spare her life, and that of her family's, too. It's also an amazing story of how she came to live in the United States after the war ended. This is a great & wonderful book---don't miss it!
Fascinating

I tried to put myself in Mari's place and asked what I would have done under those circumstances. I found it fascinating as I followed the many miracles of protection that God did in their behalf, and not only for them, but the whole immediate family. The closeness and love of Mari's family was heartwarming. Was it because they had found their Messiah just in time? I read the book twice. I feel we can learn this much that our only protection from our enemy comes from Jesus the Messiah.
Hard to Put Down

Hard to put down. Makes you always want to know what's going to happen next. You feel as though you were there. You can feel the struggle. Would be good for a book report for a high school history class. Also recommend The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokaw.
