BIttersweet, lovely and well-loved

A book about death for children without being too sentimental or talking down to them. Time for Uncle Joe was published the year my father died (I was 3) and I read and reread it because it felt so true. All the memories and the sense of loss for what won't be are right on for a little girl. I highly recommend this for any kid who has lost a loved one. 27 years later and I can still be comforted by this book.
